You can view a presentation which outlines the research and community consultation behind the development of a draft Masterplan for the redevelopment of the Blackwood shopping precinct. 

The plan incorporates sound urban design principles, what's needed to keep our precinct economially viable, and the shopping, leisure, social and entertainment needs of our community.  The plan is intended to provide for our local population 30 years into the future, as recommended for the urban planning  for commercial precinct development.
